We often tend to ignore the mental health of our children by overlooking everyday worries and child’s behavioural difficulties such as exam stress, relationship issues with friends, family members and teachers, whether the child is defiant, disrespectful or the child is oppositional or has difficulty tolerating disappointment, frustration or stress.
Counselling by experts offers children and young people a space to talk about their thoughts and feelings in a safe environment. It helps them to share any worries or problems they may have and to build their confidence and self-esteem. It can also help with self-harm concerns, grief, depression and anxiety, and learning difficulties.
